The event took place from 2 to 5 PM, during which guests enjoyed live music featuring DJ Kilmore of Incubus, in addition to plant-based appetizers, an open bar, a raffle, as well as a silent auction. A single $50 ticket purchase for the event was enough for HIT Foundation to get a single dog “New Home Ready”, providing the pup with vaccinations, a microchip, leash, tag and a collar!

The HIT Foundation - which stands for Honesty, Integrity, and Trust - is a nonprofit organization that aims to focus its energy on animal welfare and humanitarian aid. To those who work for HIT, rescuing animals and prepping them for adoption is more than just a mission - it’s a lifestyle choice! The folks at HIT provide financial, physical and emotional assistance during times of crisis, but most importantly, they seek to implement small, every day acts of kindness.

The Winston House originally started as a grassroots movement aimed at bringing more live music to Venice, CA. Before the venue came to fruition, the creative forces behind Winston House were throwing concerts in their living rooms!
