(Euronext Paris, Luxembourg and Frankfurt Stock Exchanges: SESG), the world's premier satellite operator, announces a restructuring of its assets in the core satellite infrastructure business as well as of its holdings in different satellite service companies. The aim is to align the Group's structure with its different strategic pillars, both within the regional and the business segment dimensions, and to optimize the corporate group and financing structure.

To that effect, and in addition to its 100% holding of SES ASTRA (also owning 75% of Nordic Satellite AB) and of SES GLOBAL Americas (controlling 100% of SES AMERICOM), SES GLOBAL has set up five Luxembourg-based companies: SES GLOBAL Africa S.A., SES GLOBAL Asia S.A., SES GLOBAL Europe S.A., SES GLOBAL Latin America S.A. as well as SES GLOBAL Participations S.A.

SES GLOBAL Africa S.A. will hold SES' 43.55% stake in Accelon, the premier pan-African broadband satellite services provider.

SES GLOBAL Asia S.A. will hold SES' 49.5% participation in Bowenvale, itself the controlling shareholder owner of AsiaSat (68.9%), Asia's leading satellite system.

SES GLOBAL Europe S.A. will hold the Group's European participations in the satellite services field i.e. ASTRANet (100%), SATLYNX (41.69%), DPC (75.2%) and Netsystem.com (15.02%).

SES GLOBAL Latin America S.A. will hold SES' 19.99% participation in Brazilian satellite operator Star One as well as the company's 28.75% stake in the Argentinian operator Nahuelsat.

SES GLOBAL Participations S.A. will hold SES' global or interregional businesses such as ORBCOMM (10.54%).
