Internationally Recognized & Community Dancer Home on the Auction Block
Internationally recognized clog dancer
(EMAILWIRE.COM, May 09, 2006 ) Groveport, OH – The home of well known community resident and
internationally recognized clog dancer, Lee Adams will go to the auction
block this Saturday to accommodate her upcoming move to Savanna, Georgia.
Mrs. Adams made Groveport her home for many years and quickly became a
valuable member to the community by teaching area seniors the art of clog
dancing for the better part of 14 years. Clogging is a traditional type of
percussive folk dance which is associated with a number of different regions
across the world.
In 2004, Mrs. Adams was the producer and host of a weekly community
television program for the now defunct Community 21 station where she was
awarded the ‘Best Show, Top Producer’ honors. On the international stage,
Mrs. Adams has toured the world and led the 1999 Senior Team at the John F.
Kennedy Center to her impressive resume. One of her most prestigious
accomplishments was her selection to lead a special performance for the
‘Survivors of the Pentagon’ in conjunction with the Independence Day Parade
in Washington, DC in 2002.
“We don’t have the time or patience to play the wait and see game by listing
our former model home on the conventional market. A close friend of mine
encouraged me to sell my home this way after auctioneer Michael Hoffman was
successful in selling hers. I expect the best but I am prepared to sell for
much lower than what I initially paid for the home,” Mrs. Adams said.
Holding back tears, Mrs. Adams added; “Groveport has been very dear to me
and a place that I will always call home. Nothing can replace the great
friendships I established here or the pure joy I received by bringing
clogging to the community.”
The real estate auction will take place at 12:00 Noon this Saturday, May 13
at 240 Harbinger Drive, Groveport, Ohio. Additional information about the
auction can be found by contacting auctioneer Michael Hoffman of Re/Max
Champions via www.spiffyauctions.com or by calling (614) 866-6512.
