Getronics PinkRoccade, the largest Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services provider in the Netherlands, purchased AutoPilot/WMQ Enterprise Edition to be able to control and manage MQ servers. They are planning to use the technology to provide MQ monitoring of AIX and z/OS systems for their client, a large Dutch bank serving 4.6 million customers. Getronics PinkRoccade selected Nastel because of its ability to view message logs in the AIX environment and automate the backup of persistent queues on the AIX platform. In addition, Getronics PinkRoccade wanted a total view of its client’s MQ environment, including the ability to see a snapshot of all the queues and availability.

AutoPilot/WMQ allows Getronics PinkRoccade to provide true end-to-end, real-time application process monitoring for its client. AutoPilot/WMQ monitors and controls middleware and application interaction to streamline operations, and eliminates the redundancies and bottlenecks that can cost its customers millions in lost revenue.
