Rochester, Iowa: A dryer fire caused $15,000 in damages when the resident fell asleep while doing her laundry. She escaped safely when she awoke to a house full of smoke.

Tampa, FL: A dryer fire caused by lint build-up in the dryer ducts resulted in $60,000 in damage. The resident started the dryer and left for about 10 minutes. When she returned, the house was on fire.
