Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) drops 0.21% to $224.37 on 4.46 million shares. Earlier this week, the company`s market capitalization went over $200 billion mark, for the first time in its history. Apple currently holds the fifth-largest market capitalization among U.S. public companies, behind Exxon Mobil, Microsoft, Wal-Mart, and Berkshire Hathaway.
Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) added 1.27% to $583.77. The stock is up over 83% in the last one year of trading sessions.
Micron Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:MU) lost 0.81% to $9.79 on 8.32 million shares.
STEC, Inc. (NASDAQ:STEC) declines 2.12% to $12.90 on 2.03 million shares.
Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) jumped 0.41% to $29.09 on 9.82 million shares. Yesterday, Motorola, Inc. announced a global alliance with Microsoft Corp. to deploy Bing services on Motorola devices powered by Android. This new offering, launching in China on smartphones in first quarter, will provide consumers a choice when using search and map functions on their Android-based devices.
Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) gained 0.28% to $21.25 on 15.21 million shares.
Oracle Corporation (NASDAQ:ORCL) is up 0.97% to $25.11 on 8.06 million shares. The company is approaching its 52-week high of $25.64.
International Business Machines Corp. (NYSE:IBM) soars 1.25% to $127.19 on 2.40 million shares.
