The Men's Wearhouse, Inc. (NYSE:MW) fell 3.26% to $24.02 after the men's clothing retailer reported worse than expected fourth-quarter sales. The company swung to a fourth-quarter loss of 36 cents a share from a profit of 3 cents in the year-earlier quarter. Excluding a charge, the latest quarter's loss was 11 cents. Sales fell to $457.2 million from $476.4 million.
Hot Topic, Inc. (NASDAQ:HOTT) fell 0.75% to $6.50 despite It gave a first-quarter outlook that may miss analysts' estimates. The teen retailer forecast a first-quarter loss of 2 cents to 5 cents a share. Wall Street had expected a loss of 2 cents a share. The company said its loss projection is based on expectations that same-store sales will decline by a high single-digit percentage.
The Gymboree Corporation (NASDAQ:GYMB) soared 11.50% to $51.61 after its fourth-quarter profit topped Street expectations and its first-quarter outlook also may exceed estimates.
The Gap Inc. (NYSE:GPS) rose over 1% to $22.61 after falling about 1% earlier in the session.
The Buckle, Inc. (NYSE:BKE) surged 1.50% to $35.09 after falling over 1.50% in the opening session.
