The stock has surged 3.09% and is trading at $17.17 after the company reportedly told a Morgan Stanley conference in San Francisco that it is looking for an increase in gross margins this year. The #2 graphics chip maker also unveiled its next-generation ION graphics processor, which it says will supercharge netbooks with 10 times the graphics performance of standard netbooks. New ION netbooks also feature Nvidia’s 10 hour Optimus battery. More than 30 products with ION graphics processor will launch by the summer.
SanDisk Corporation (NASDAQ:SNDK) zoomed 3.76% over its previous day’s price and now trades at $33.38.
