(EMAILWIRE.COM, March 03, 2010 ) Dallas, Tx - Freddie Mac (NYSE:FRE) added 5.17% to end the day at $1.22 on 11.74 million shares after the company announced that it plans to issue a new three-year USD Reference Notes® security, CUSIP number 3137EACJ6, due on April 15, 2013. The issue will be priced on Wednesday, March 3, 2010, and will settle on Thursday, March 4, 2010, at benchmark size.

MSCI Inc. (NYSE:MXB) also rose 14.06% to close at $32.61 on 4.98 million shares after UBS upgraded MSCI Inc from “Neutral” to “Buy.” MSCI’s 52-week trading range is $12.61-$35.10.
Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE:WFC) jumped 1.90% to $27.87 on 45.60 million shares.
KeyCorp (NYSE:KEY) advanced 1% to $7.04 on 7.79 million shares. The stock hit an intraday high and an intraday low of $7.14 and $6.97 respectively. In the last six months the stock went up over 20%.
U.S. Bancorp (NYSE:USB) gained 0.94% to $24.74 on 7.91 million shares after Dow Jones yesterday reported that U.S. Bancorp has priced a $500 million offering of notes via joint lead managers Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley and UBS Securities. This bond will mature on March 4, 2015 and the settlement date will be March 4, 2010 (flat).
The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation (NYSE:BK) also went up 0.95% to $28.69 on 6.76 million shares.
