(EMAILWIRE.COM, September 17, 2009 ) CHICAGO, IL – Face melting guitar, pumping and thumping rhythms, aggressive, and in-your-face vocals will greet those attending The Elbo Room on Thursday, September 24th. Led by the lithe and dark Jodi Kell on vocals, and supported by guitarist Scoot Haith, bassist Petra Sith, and drummer Conor Mccann, this four-piece heavy-hitting rock band is beginning to hit the music scene with intensity.

Beginning their tour at The Elbo Room and supporting another great band from Indiana, “Philpot”, Losing Scarlet is kicking off a long list of shows with this performance. Soon following this show, Losing Scarlet is scheduled to play at The Corner Bad, Penny Road Pub, O’Malley’s, House Café…the list goes on.

Formed in late 2007, within three months Losing Scarlet had written and recorded a six song demo and performed three live shows. Taking it slow through 2008 to polish their music and live show, Losing Scarlet has become a well oiled machine ready to break into the scene with a series of killer performances.

The Elbo Room show begins at 8PM and fans are encouraged to arrive early, as the venue is expected to fill up fast.
