Director Gambrell will travel to St. Louis, Missouri to conduct multiple site visits in low-income neighborhoods which have benefitted from the CDFI Fund’s programs. The site visits include locations throughout the city of St. Louis and neighboring communities in Belleville and O’Fallon, Missouri in addition to East St. Louis, Illinois.

Mr. Villar will serve as a member on the Public Service Panel at the 2009 Virginia Hispanic Youth Symposium, a four-day college campus experience where sophomore and junior high school students attend workshops stressing academic achievement, career choices, community service and civic responsibility. Two-hundred students from the surrounding DC area will attend.
