MARSHALL INTRODUCES ULTRA LONG, HIGH TEMPERATURE LENSES DESIGNED FOR HAZARDOUS ENVIRONMENTS
The new series of high-temperature, hi-tech and long-focus lenses addresses the unique challenges associated with imaging requirements in hazardous environments.
(EMAILWIRE.COM, July 23, 2009 ) Marshall’s Industrial and Security Division has developed a new series of pinhole lenses that helps keep employees out of harm’s way when monitoring high temperature and/or hostile environments. Consisting of high-temperature, high-tech zoom, and long-focus lenses, the Marshall lenses can be used with a wide variety C/CS mount cameras.
Harsh environments pose unique challenges to those with imaging requirements. Heat, abrasives, vacuum, fluids and radiation severely affect the successful operation and longevity of imaging systems. Marshall Electronics specialty lenses are designed to permit imaging in harsh environments and survive abrasive, high-temperature and high-vacuum environments.
The series can accommodate a variety of industrial and security applications, such as monitoring rooms with high-temperatures or chemical levels, oil wells, factory equipment, or any area that needs to be observed without compromising the health and safety of employees.
The V-ZPL-HITEMP-A and V-ZPL-HITEMP-B zoom pinhole lenses include ultra-durable optical elements, coupled with a stainless steel housing that permits reliable monitoring in temperatures up to 1000º, conditions where high temperature, corrosion, and impact issues prohibit the use of conventional lenses.
For industrial production, scientific analysis or covert monitoring, the V-ZPL12 series pinhole lens (available with motorized or manual zoom control) is well suited for situations when the camera must be hidden from view. This high-tech zoom pinhole lens uses high quality glass elements and offers an impressive 4-20mm angle of view.
Rounding out the series are the V-PL150C, V-PL200C, and V-PL300C long focal lenses with high tech optical design and high quality glass optics. These lenses are designed for covert operations when it’s necessary to keep the camera away from the viewing tip and can be used when looking through walls up to 14.81” thick.
Theses lenses are available for order now and include quantity price breaks.
