New Course Shows Business Owners how to Make Money Online from What They Know

This is an opportunity to learn everything you need to know about web marketing

(EMAILWIRE.COM, May 11, 2009 ) Detroit, MI -- 30% of tradition businesses currently have a web site, according to Wall Street Journal blogger, Kelly Spors. By 2010 that number will double. Business owners are looking to get more exposure from the internet and find a wider market for their products and services in a declining economy. But will the internet also change the very nature of their business and the source of their revenues? Web marketing expert, Jayne Burch predicts it will.

The recession is cutting deep into the pockets of most companies as they see sales of their customary products and services decline. Jayne Burch, founder of the Marketing Monsoon system to help traditional small business transform to a Web Business, sees that there is not much of a recession on the internet, especially when it coming to sales of information products.

200 billion dollars will be spent on the internet this year alone on products including information products, and that figure is growing. The recession itself is fueling this trend as people are searching for ways to solve there problems.

Burch suggests that the traditional small business owner can capitalize on this trend and beat the recession. “The key is a shift in perspective,” she says. Burch, founder of MarketingMonsoon.com is currently conducting a series of classes to help the small business owner make that shift in perspective and successfully establish a business on the web.

The May 23rd, 2009 class “Create Info Products for Passive Profits,” is the forth class in the series, “Small Biz to Web Biz: A Web Marketing Course for Small Business Owners” and will be held from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm in Livonia, Michigan.

The focus of the course will be creating additional revenue streams from the web for traditional small businesses. Participants will leave with solid ideas and a plan that can be implemented immediately whether or not the individual currently has a web site.

Burch believes that business owners are leaving cash on the table because, they have knowledge that their customers want and are not getting, and are willing to pay for. Visit http://www.megaeveningevent.com for more info.
