"Discover Oahu: A Pictorial Guide to a Tropical Island Paradise" (Paperback) gives island visitors a photographic and descriptive glimpse of the land and air activities, as well as art and cultural museums and attractions on the island.

The guidebook includes local history, most popular Oahu attractions, contact info for attractions, hints about what to bring and/or what to wear, and often background information on the attraction.

This new travel guide is a publication of the Iowa Bed & Breakfast Innkeepers Association. One of the gems of information included in the book is a listing of highly rated bed and breakfast accommodations found on the island. Since there is not an organization inspecting and approving the B&B operations on the island, at this time, the research put into the listing will help visitors find clean, quality lodging without having to spend hours and hours researching the various island B&Bs -- the authors have done the tedious task for readers.
