New Bee Species Discovered - makes for great pets!
A new breed of bee, known for it's friendliness and sociability, has been discovered in Australia. These new friendly 'meebees' have been spotted in California, where apparently people are using them as the latest new trend in owning a pet.

The Africanized bee is a real threat and the honey bee is becoming extinct and threatens all of humanity. But there is now some good news in the bee world. A new breed of bee, known for its friendliness and sociability has taken bee-keeping to a new level.
Scientists have discovered a new species of bee in central Australia (a land known for its unique animal breeds such as the koala, kangaroo and wombat) which have begun migrating east and have even been spotted in California. Scientists are baffled by these amazingly strange, blue and yellow jacketed hymenopters (bees) that don't make honey, don't have stingers and are NOT aggressive. In fact, it seems that this unique brand of bee has evolved to a serve a very unique purpose. These bees are extremely friendly and have even been domesticated.

Professional Australian Beekeeper, Rick Bemene, who originally discovered the new breed on his farm in Wagga Wagga says he's "…never seen anything quite like this in all my years. A cute, communicative and friendly bee that makes a great companion!"
