(EMAILWIRE.COM, March 30, 2009 ) Anmore, BC, Canada, March 27, 2009 - The GVRD has recently released the Livable Region Strategic Plan (LRSP) which identifies urban and rural areas, and takes into consideration general land use planning criteria, as well as specific municipal land use designations and policies established by each municipality’s Official Community Plan. This Rural Urban denotation has recently been brought up in terms of the construction of the proposed Heritage Woods Middle School. Planning consultant for the school, Michael Rosen has made comments regarding the denotation of Anmore as rural and how this would impact the construction.
