(EMAILWIRE.COM, March 12, 2009 ) CHICAGO – As part of its ongoing efforts to nurture high-growth businesses, the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center (CEC) held its second annual Momentum Awards Monday evening and brought together more than 650 people from the business community at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago. As part of the night’s events, Eved Services was recognized with the Merrick Momentum Award to acknowledge this high-growth, entrepreneurial business in the Chicago region. Founded by Talia Mashiach in 2004, Eved Services has transformed the local event services marketplace through new technology and today the company is poised for national expansion.

The Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center Board of Directors selected Eved Services for the 2009 Merrick Momentum Award from a field of other prominent entrepreneurial companies with strong growth potential including Neat-Oh! International, smarTECHS.net, and Zorch.

The staff of the CEC has coached Eved Services since the company’s inception in 2004 and made key introductions in the marketplace. In that time, company revenue has grown 1900 percent. The CEC has also advised on financing strategies and capitalization structure for the company and guided the firm as they launched its new technology product offering. Eved Services currently employs 25 people.
