This new payment solution gives Humane Society service providers across the country the ability to accept credit cards without incurring typical credit card processing costs.

Federal Payments has offered no cost payment acceptance solutions to government agencies since 2003, but until recently these solutions have been limited to Internet, telephone, and other non face-to-face payments. Now, due to a recent change in credit card regulations, government agencies can take full advantage of no cost payment processing solutions for in-person payments.

Federal Payments is the first large scale provider of this no cost solution, having successfully pioneered the roll-out to one of its state clients. Also available to Humane Societies are internet donation methods and software integration capabilities. The Federal Payments Secure WebPay system serves to payment-enable an existing website for donations or service payments with minimal development required.
