Student on the Road to Success at the Academy of Cinema and Television
Isabella Roessle is under ten, but well on her way to success in the entertainment industry.
(EMAILWIRE.COM, September 12, 2008 ) Phoenix, AZ - Isabella Roessle is your typical fourth grader, inquisitive, excitable, and dramatic and she is ready to try wider variety of activities and interests. Most kids enjoy spending more time outside home and school exploring and developing new interests and making new friends – they are expanding their world. Most are involved in after-school activities that help them develop a clearer sense of who they truly are.
But unlike the average 8 or 9 year old, when Isabella does activities with her after school friends, she is acting or taking some type of performing arts class.
Isabella's family recognized her raw talent at a young age and began supporting her innate desire to learn and study the performing arts that naturally seemed to fascinate her. In September of 2007, Isabella’s family enrolled her in acting classes at the Academy of Cinema and Television in Phoenix. Once exposed to professional training at the exclusive school, Isabella blossomed appearing in December of 2007 on AZTV on The Pat McMahon Live Show, the a National Claritin Commercial (a soccer player in a yellow jersey with the number 3 on the shirt), then in early January 2008 she was named 3rd Runner Up for the title of Female Child Actor of the Year at an LA convention for show biz kids.
At the convention Isabella and her mother met major industry talent agents, managers, and casting directors. Her convention auditions and interviews brought about callbacks from Peak Models and Talent , MC Talent, ZKids, and Magic Casting. After receiving a 2nd callback from ZKids Isabella and her mom flew into Burbank, CA, to meet with the agents. A decision was made not to sign a contract at this time, the family is not ready to move to California, but they will stay in close touch with the agency keeping them informed about Isabella’s professional progress – this was on January 25, 2008 on Spike TV. Within days Isabella was involved in the filming of a major television crime-drama titled "S.I.S."
S.I.S. is the story of a secret investigative unit within the LAPD, a five-man team that tackles major crimes and major criminals, a team with a reputation for operating not just under the radar, but also outside the law. Directed by award-winning director John Herzfeld, the film is a pilot scheduled to air in the Fall of 2008. Isabella played the kid in the park.
Isabella’s television acting classes with instructor Kerry Keepers at the Academy of Cinema and Television has prepared her well for her recent acting successes. However, in Isabella’s case she has more than talent and outstanding training on her side. Industry professionals say the two most important factors of success for kid actors are a willing (and eager) child, and a parent who is willing to take time out of his or her own schedule to take the budding actor around to auditions and to commercial shoots. Isabella has it all: talent, excellent training, eagerness and a supportive family ready to take her to auditions, competitions, and on commercial shoots.
