Jeff recommends education through books, conferences, seminars and workshops that focus on the topic one is most interested in. When asked why so many people fail to achieve their dreams, Jeff Kaller explained what he calls the dream zappers. Dream zapper number one is excuses. He explained how people think of numerous excuses as to why they are not succeeding instead of focusing on why they will succeed. People need to stay focused on their goals and how they plan to reach them. “Keep a picture in your mind of what your life will look like when you achieve your dream,” says Kaller. Dream zapper number two is being too comfortable in one’s current state. “If you don’t have the desire to create a complete and total change in your lifestyle then stop right now. For example, you go to seminars to show how to start your own home business. When you return home, you don’t do the things that you were taught,” says Kaller. Dream zapper number three is too much of what one does in their life doesn’t apply to achieving their dreams. Jeff says, “If you are doing something in your life that is not facilitating your goals, then stop doing it. For example, do you spend too much time watching television instead of working on your new business?” Dream zapper number four is waiting too long to take action or not taking action at all. “Procrastination is an enemy to achieving dreams. Take time to think about what you want to do, what you want to change and what you want to achieve. Take action now, don’t wait,” says Kaller.
