Talk with senior GSA leaders and more than 700 GSA industry partners, and join GSA customers in special training and familiarization classes. Training includes:
Managing Your GSA SmartPay® Purchase Card Program
As card managers you are responsible for ensuring cardholders use their cards appropriately, preventing and detecting misuse and fraud, and ensuring optimal program performance. This session will provide information and best practices for agencies to effectively manage their Purchase Card programs.
GSA SmartPay® Purchase Cardholder Training
This session will provide an overview of the purchase card program, guidance on proper card use, and using the card for emergency procurements.
What: GSA International Products and Services Expo 2008
When: April 22-24, 2008, from 8am-4pm each day
Who: GSA Leaders; 3,500 GSA customers, 730 GSA Industry partners
Where: Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, CA
Registration: Please call Michael Collins, (202) 208-4220 or email Michael.collins@gsa.gov and a registration form will be emailed to you. Fax or email it and your press credentials to the GSA Press Office at (202) 501-1300 or Michael.collins@gsa.gov. Registration confirmation will be emailed to you upon approval of credentials. Based on space requirements, GSA reserves the right to limit the number of press badges issued to a news organization.
Credentialing: Only credentialed press may cover Expo 2008. Credentials are established by providing either press identification or a business card issued by a recognized news organization or publication. Freelance journalists must present a letter of assignment on letterhead from a recognized news organization or publication and a business card. Credentialed press will be issued a press badge upon arrival at Expo 2008.
Ground Rules: You must register as a press representative to enjoy press privileges. You must ask permission before quoting any speakers and interviewees in stories. You will need to wear your press badge at Expo 2008 functions to identify yourself as press to attendees. Participation in training classes in on a space-available basis, with seats going first to customer and industry attendees.
