RBD LATINO POP GROUP ON TOUR

RBD is a Mexican pop group now on tour in the United States, promoting their new CD.

(EMAILWIRE.COM, March 01, 2008 ) Sacramento, California - The Mexican pop group “RBD” is off on their multi-American city tour with a new sound, smaller audiences, and the thousands of cheering young fans, mostly Mexican-American girls, whose passion and fanaticism is reminiscent of the Beatles' early years.

Launching their tour on February 15, 2008 in Harlingen, Texas, RBD has had over three years of success selling millions of albums world-wide and drawing millions more on reruns of their popular novella, “Rebelde” (Rebel). But, it was their cross over tune, "Tu Amor" that has brought new audiences to this Mexican sensation group.

“We have new songs, a variety of new dances, and smaller crowds to create more intimacy with our fans,” says Dulce, one of the three female singers of the six young and attractive pop singers. “It’s better and a real change than playing in major stadiums.” Dulce was referring to the many stadium concerts they have sold out throughout their previous tours, including the Los Angeles Coliseum.

RBD is comprised of Dulce, Poncho, Maite, Christian, Anahi, and Christopher, all former actors in the novella “Rebelde” about a group of well to do prep students whose personal lives are troubled and they seek each others company to make up for what they don’t have at home.
In addition RBD has been promoting their new CD at the opening of super music stores “Ritmo Latino.”

“On February 14, my new book was released called ‘Dulce Amargo’ (Sour Candy) wish is a group of poems that I wrote,” adds Dulce.
When asked if they would be making any new films, Maite responded, “We are so busy right now with so many events, press conferences, and the tour, we don’t have time now. But, perhaps later this year.”
RBD was recently at the grand opening of Ritmo Latino in Sacramento, California which included a press conference.
