The Real Estate Investors Association of Oakland, The largest real estate investing group in southeastern Michigan Proudly Presents: Randolph T. Barker , Esq. & MicheleWeingust, E.A. February 14, 2008 at The Michigan State Education Center in Troy, MI
(EMAILWIRE.COM, February 13, 2008 ) Troy, MI - They say “Those who fail to prepare, prepare to fail”, right? In these uncertain times, it’s hard to keep a positive outlook, especially for entrepreneurs who rely on themselves and their own activity to keep them afloat. Making a solid game plan can make all the difference, whether you are a wholesaler, a landlord, rehab homes, etc. Making sure that you have covered all the angles could save you a lot of liability, costs, and headaches. Whether you are contemplating the exciting opportunities in the market as a first time investor, or if you are a seasoned pro, bring your questions and join us at our February meeting.
Randolph T. Barker is an attorney with Berry Moorman P.C., which has offices in Detroit, Ann Arbor and Birmingham, Michigan. He represents owners, landlords, developers, contractors, architects
and lenders in matters involving the acquisition, sale, and leasing of commercial real estate, real estate litigation and foreclosures. Additionally, he counsels clients regarding development, construction, land use approvals and financing of various projects, including condominiums, retail centers, residential subdivisions and industrial parks. Michele Weingust is no stranger to real estate investing or the REIA of Oakland. She joined us in 2007 for our round table discussion as a guest speaker on taxation of real estate business entities. She has extensive experience with H&R Block, and is a licensed Enrolled Agent who canrepresent her clients in cases of IRS audits.
